Naším cieľom je obohatiť chov o jedince, ktoré budú mať čo najvyššie predpoklady pre zdravý a šťastný život v stimulujúcich a vyhovujúcich podmienkach najskôr u nás a následne i u svojho nového majiteľa.

BREEDING CONDITIONS
Providing safe, reasonably stimulating conditions is essential to achieving our goals. It is also extremely important to make sure that the female parent-to-be starts her nutritional preparation in advance (during the prenatal stage), ideally after consultation with a veterinary nutritionist.
Postnatal care of the puppies is at least 8 weeks. According to several professional publications, this is both unique and most important for the puppies' future functioning in real life alongside their new owner. Anything that is neglected during this period, the puppies are not able to acquire to such an extent later on. One could say that the ideal period is irretrievably gone. Therefore, the approach and role of the breeder is very important.
The actual rearing of the litter from this developmental point of view can be divided into several stages.
First stage
Interior – pen – Hygienic (dry and warm), calm and safe birthing place, with daylight and fresh air.
Second stage
Provide a fresh air outdoor area with the puppies being able to return to the pen easily. This is mainly to stimulate their good hygiene habits.
Third stage
To provide the puppies with an outdoor space that is accessible without stairs and provides sufficient stimulation to naturally satisfy their psyche, with the aim of developing their senses and locomotor system naturally.
Fourth stage
Creative playground and incentives in the form of play, safe shelter in this environment.
Fifth stage
Discovery – shared contact in a safe environment outside of the already familiar spaces from stages one to four. The importance of gentle, safe and gradual stimulation leading to resilience and stability in their psyche.
Creative and methodical activities to stimulate the puppies' gifts during rearing :
Smell, touch, eyes, ears, intuition, spatial orientation and
consequently relational bonding-trust-fearlessness = joint activities = full socialization
We start with individual activities more or less from birth. They are appropriately adapted to their developmental stages.
Getting used to touching, gentle handling e.g. during regular weighing, checking interaction with their mother, laying different materials, cotton, cuddly blankets… Hygienic care of surfaces and materials is done with organic products that affect their olfactory perception as little as possible. It is necessary that during the period until they acquire sufficient visual abilities they know how to make the best use of their sense of smell without hemic stimuli. It's fascinating to see when sleeping puppies react immediately to the return and presence of their mother, or frankly to the presence of a milk bar, based on their sense of smell :)
Gradually different colour stimuli, static and moving, we add sound stimuli, during the period in the pen the hygiene of the little ones is consistently taken care of by the female – mother, we control and our intervention is minimal. The period of increased care for cleanliness for us occurs after we start feeding, usually after the puppies are 21 days old. At that point the puppies have, through lactation, 3 1/2 times their increased birth weight.
As the puppies progressively feed, the regimen begins to divide into changes in cycles, which is manifested by changes in the length and intensity of the cycles – food intake, excretion, activity, rest. This happens several times a day, the aim being to have as much rest as possible during the night hours. Both for the puppies themselves, their mother and last but not least for the breeder :).
GENERALLY ABOUT DOGS
In the postnatal period, their priority is food intake, excretion, sleep and especially thermal comfort close to their mother… Their eyes will not open for two weeks, so smell and touch are extremely important survival tools for them.
Gradually they begin to see, hear. By 5 weeks their eyes are fully developed, their hearing …..
Within two fast-passing months, they will have developed their invaluable senses that have helped humanity to thrive.
Dogs, unlike humans, have one less receptor, so they see mostly yellow and blue.
They evaluate moving stimuli before we do, a sign of their ingrained hunting instinct.
As their instincts awaken they pounce on anything that comes under their paws.
Since they hear sounds with 2 times higher intensity than humans and at about four times the distance their reactions are in advance and thanks to that they can alert us to new situations that we are not even aware of at that moment. ( natural disasters)
It is no wonder that our ancestors relied on their hearing to assess impending danger.

THE REMARKABLE SENSE OF DOGS
Makes them exceptional hunters is their sense of smell.
Their brains are about one-tenth the size of a human brain. However, the area devoted to the sense of smell is about 10 times larger.
With 300 million olfactory receptors compared to humans' 6 million, they can smell odors from even a few weeks ago.
Just 2 months after puppies are born deaf and blind their senses are fully developed.
They no longer have to hunt for us, they have snapped * importance of socialization !)
Their senses make the dogs ideal hunting partners and we have become their friends.
They have made it easy for themselves because from the moment they were born they have fit seamlessly into our families.
Together we have created an unbeatable partnership. With dogs by their side, humans have explored every corner of our planet.
